TRAK Spring Training kicked off the 2010 festivities this past weekend and under near perfect weather conditions, over 70 of Ontario’s most anxious karters participated in the event designed to shake off the winter rust.

“I was really impressed with what I saw.” Stated TRAK President Daniel Di Leo, “To consider that last year at this time we were actually snowed out is mind boggling. The pits were packed and the majority of our members looked as if they were already in mid-season form! Lap times were remarkably fast, the leader boards switched from session to session, and the 18 new members that graduated from the rookie training class held earlier in the morning held their own nicely later in the afternoon.”

I have been given an experience that I never thought I would get. It had always been my dream to drive a race car, and thanks to this outstanding award package, it has become a reality.

Over the last 2 weeks, I have been all over the Sunshine State. We started in Orlando, headed to Palmetto and concluded our trip back in Orlando. When I first walked on the Andersen Race Park Facility I was in awe! It was incredible. Look to the left there was the race shop and straight ahead there was the track. The first thing I did was go take a quick look at the track before going into the building. Everything looked amazing, but it was only going to get better!...
